VILLAGE AMENITIES.

A VARIETY OF AMENITIES FOR RESIDENTS TO ENJOY.

The Lady Clark Retirement Village has a range of amenities for residents to enjoy. These amenities include the use of The Village Hall, The Library, Indoor Bowling, Table Tennis, 8 Ball, and Barbeques. Our residents are encouraged to organise functions and classes and management is fully supportive of all initiatives. We are always open to new suggestions and if there is something you would like to see please let us know.

TABLE TENNIS

Table tennis facilities including bats and balls are available in the main hall. Why not join the table tennis group and enjoy some friendly competition.

THE LIBRARY

The Library is situated inside the Village Hall. It is well stocked with both large and small print books, magazines as well as several videos and DVDs for borrowing. The library is run by volunteers from within the Village. Books are catalogued and borrowed on a sign out system. Donations of pre-loved books are always welcomed.

BARBEQUES

There are two, easy to operate gas barbeques situated at the rear of the hall for use by the residents. The barbeque area has seating provided and the kitchen within the hall is easily accessed.

EIGHT BALL

Bring a friend and enjoy a few games of eightball. Team up with some of the other residents and set up a competition. The eightball table is well maintained and if any problems appear, residents can notify the manager to have them fixed.

INDOOR BOWLS

There is a well patronised Indoor Bowls competition run by residents at the Village, with home and away teams competing. Invitation is open to any resident to join a team or if you would prefer, just go and "have a roll" or a practice session.

THE VILLAGE HALL

The "Heart" of the Centre operates around The Village Hall. The Hall is situated within the grounds of the Centre and is available for the use of residents seven days a week. The hall has a large indoor bowling room which is also used for functions and classes. There is a smaller meeting room and a fully equipped kitchen. The Hall also houses a well stocked library. There is also male, female and disabled toilets. The hall opens out to a barbeque and seating area and a carpark.

The Villas at Lady Clark are positioned in such a way one could be forgiven for not realising it is part of a Retirement Village. Independent living within the village is just that. Residents can have as much or as little involvement with each other as they choose.
