A VARIETY OF AMENITIES FOR RESIDENTS
The Lady Clark Retirement Village has a range of amenities for residents to enjoy. These amenities include the use of The Village Hall, The Library, Indoor Bowling, 8 Ball, and BBQs. Our Community Committee, a collaboration of Board, Residents and Staff facilitate functions, socials, classes and guest speakers. We are always open to new suggestions and if there is something you would like to see please let us know.
Games
From classic board games like Scrabble, Rummikub, and cards to interest groups that spark conversation and creativity — there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
THE LIBRARY
The Library is situated inside the Village Hall. It is well stocked with both large and small print books, magazines and DVDs for borrowing.
BBQs
There are two, easy to operate gas barbeques situated at the rear of the hall for use by the residents. The barbeque area has seating provided and the kitchen within the hall is easily accessed.
SNOOKER & EIGHT BALL
Bring a friend and enjoy a few games of eightball. Team up with some of the other residents and set up a competition.
INDOOR BOWLS
Indoor Bowls social playing is run by residents at the Village every Saturday. Lady Clark also has a resident team in the Southern Tas Indoor Ladies Bowls roster, with home and away teams competing.
THE VILLAGE HALL
The "Heart" of the Centre operates around The Village Hall. Situated at 10 Waldron Street, within the grounds of the Centre and houses, offices, resident lounge, library and hall.
